Borrowers say Wells Fargo violated collection law

HUNTINGTON — Two borrowers are suing Wells Fargo Financial National Bank, a financial services company, citing alleged violation of the West Virginia Consumer Credit and Protection Act.
Jared and Victoria Baldwin filed a complaint on April 21 in Cabell Circuit Court, alleging that Wells Fargo failed to comply with the plaintiffs’ preference to communicate with their legal counsel with regard to a debt.
